While the modern age has evolved to demand changes in response to new technological advances, increased connectivity, and stimuli everywhere you can look, our nervous systems remain programmed nearly identically to how they were thousands of years ago.

In the face of stress, your body is prepared to enter combat against a dangerous animal (a tiger!), and an activated nervous system can only help you to a certain degree when it comes to these stressors.

Now, people are experiencing ‘speed wobbles’, whereby the increasing pressure creates modern day chronic stress, as we are invited to change, adapt and transform with the utmost effectiveness.

Whether you’ve had significant mental, emotional or physical trauma taking you into fight, flight, freeze or fawn responses at the drop of a hat, or not, the level of stress in society higher than ever before in our globally connected, stimulating world. Work or financial related concerns today can trigger stress responses that are totally appropriate for pure physical survival when encountering a dangerous grizzly bear, but are not appropriate reactions to modern stress!

Society needs easy tools that don’t trigger a stress response in and of themselves through sheer overwhelm of things on your plate! Stress Rescue™ takes you back to the basics, introducing tools you need for managing your brain, and in a fun, relaxed and do-able way. These tools help you to:

  1. Identify your stressors in all areas of your life and expand your awareness of what is happening. This is the first step of empowerment for you to start taking back the reins, and how your brain functions.

  2. To apply tools to the stress response within the first 10 seconds of a trigger to arrest the stress response.

  3. To apply tools to stop the stress response after stress hormones have already flooded the system.

  4. To gently shift your approach to life and put you back in the driver’s seat, so you self-regulate your stress responses.

The tools work with amongst others: breath, effective body relaxation techniques, chi, movement, reflection, increasing left and right brain functionality (increasing rational and creative/intuitive brain processes), learning to control what you can let go of and what you can’t, acceptance, affirmations, tools to shift your life incrementally and consistently and enhancing your intuition.

“My journey with stress started way back when I was a child: I had no tools or ways to manage it and so it became something that continued into my teens and adulthood which affected my life hugely.
